Dear Mia,
No thanks for the pain you have put me through.
No thanks for the agony you put my Mother through.
No thanks for causing irreversible damage to me mentally and physically.
No thanks for making me weak and vulnerable.
No thanks for leaving me when I needed you most.
No thanks for egging me on and making me believe what I am doing is right.
Yet..
Thankyou for being my best friend and reassuring me when I needed reassurance.
Thankyou for giving me relief or that little extra boost when I needed it.
Thankyou for understanding why it is I have to do this.
Thankyou for supporting me.
Thankyou.
Thankyou for showing me the way to perfection.
Thankyou for surrounding me in warmth and helping me to continue this journey.
Thankyou for protecting me from IT!
Thankyou for letting me come back time and time again!
