What are the 10 things men want most from women?

October 29th 2007 20:57
What men want
Exquisite

1. Men want honest, timely, loving communication.

2. Self-sufficiency, security, confidence.

3. Lack of manipulation.

4. Growth, personal responsibility, ownership.

5. Fidelity and a commitment to the relationship.

6. Knowledge of men and how they need to be treated.

7-10. The men could not make their mind up.

Perfection?, perhaps?

What do you think about all of this? Do you agree or disagree? Do you like it or hate it.

I wonder how many there are who, having 1, look for some more of it elsewhere?

Lack of manipulation, I definitely agree with, and fidelity, of course, but the other things need close definition and are such things achievable?

I'd love to have your views.

Krystal,

Here's the grits according to carp...

Men only need visual stimulation, they rely on their eyes for most of what they need.

Women however need audio stimulation... they need to hear their men emote the honest feelings what seeing their women means to them ... for example, your face looks so soft highlighted by the shimmering silver moonlight etc etc .,..../seriously/ how many men do you know who know how to talk to a woman?

There is your communication break down!

Men don't need much, but they don't work much either...whilst a woman will work very hard on her good points and try and stay as attractive as visually possible. I guess that's what men want, someone who takes some time to groom herself and stay feminine and attractive?

Lilla ...

Hi Krystal

hhhmmm interesting. I know a bloke who is the sweetest, loveliest person and his relationships are always doomed because women treat him like cr*p... and then they complain because they cannot find a nice guy.

Then I know another guy who is an absolute dog when it comes to women and even after treating them like dirt they still come back for more!

It`s all too confusing for me... I`m taking an extended vacation from all of this.

Yeah I hate to say that if I were to take a survey of the guys I know here is what i'd get:

1. Boobs
2. Buys beer
3-10. See 1 & 2

Haha. I think I need to start hanging out with the guys that took your survey! haha

hehehe...I agree with Ash. I know too many guys who have suffered from 'But you're just too nice'. I guess women don't know what they want either.
1.Men want honesty, timely, loving communication
Heh. Is the 'timely loving communication' a euphemism for don't-nag-me-when-I'm-playing -my-Xbox? According to my hubby, men just want women to
1. Stop nagging so much
2. Tell them exactly what's bothering us women instead of us trying to drop hints in the hopes our men will get the point
3. Let them know when PMS sets in so they can get out of the house

Ten things men want from women?
1. Great kisser (the buck can stop here, trust me!)
2. A witty and/or wacky sense of humour
3. Expressive eyes and sensual lips
4. Knows what suits their figure, from a pair of comfortable jeans and a white cotton singlet to an elegant black dress and stylish stilettos
5. Shaves their legs and armpits (not essential)
6. Good conversationalist and likes to party when the mood and company is right
7. Doesn't take forever and a night to get ready to go out
8. Likes a little slap and tickle, and decent erotica
9. Honesty and self-sufficiency
10. Gives great head

Hey, Crystal, you've got the girl's brigade here, good to see a guy.

I just want someone to love me, like my parents and have lots of kids, especially boys, too many girls in our family.

Hey there...

Very nice list, but... c'mon now... is it really wrong to want those things and sexual fulfillment too? I'm a guy and a nice one who respects women.

But I wouldn't think of making that list without putting sex close to the top. I'm willing to bet there are a lot of women who would put it up there too.

Sex isn't something we're supposed to find politically incorrect. It's natural. In a good relationship, it's a key kind of communication.

Ash,

Sounds like you've got some hurt going on there, there are extremes and I guess they could do with some couselling.

Most of this isn't very serious really.

Aimz, hubby has things worked out pretty well, I think. Do try some simple remedies, foods, herbs etc for the PMS so he won't have to bail out, after all you may need him for something.

Raoul, it's lovely to see a guy having a say on all of this, you've gone to a great deal of trouble but what is left for a gal to want you for.

I want someone to look after me, you don't sound like good husband material to me, but you may make a nice boyfriend for someone, when guys starting having babies I'll agree with equality.

What is wrong with the hormones if you need artificial stimulation however mild the erotica is, ever heard of LOVE.

But, it was great that you responded and went to so much trouble.

Techno, you sound like good husband material, but you're too young for me so you need not ask me out Friday night, again. Look for a nice 18 year old. One not so socially incompetent as myself.

Lazlo, a third man, we are well blessed, sex is what leads to evolution, you are right we are not meant to do without it.

Sometimes sex needs to go on the backburner and the sooner we all learn that the better we'll all be. The world is crazy at present and none of them too happy, either, I guess.

You've got it pretty right, but women, of necessity, are very bound to their children and too often they get left holding the baby so some prudence is essential.

Thank you all and especial thanks to the guys for launching out of their domain. We need opinions from both sexes, of course.

Gosh miss krystal thinks she knows everything!
Do you really have that much extra time on your hands
to talk about everyone on here ! I agree on most of them just not all of them !

That list seems a bit vague. Surely just about everyone wants those things out of a partner? Or maybe I'm wrong and there's a whole lot of people who want a partner that doesn't communicate, is manipulative, needy and promiscuous??

Kylie, these things are all too general, I don't think anyone sets out to be like they are, things just happen sometimes but it is hard for people to communicate, we get work right but often our personal lives all wrong, that is how it seems to me.

Ahmed, last but not least and another man, I think everyone wants sex but not to the exclusion of other things, as the saying goes, life wasn't meant to be easy.

I don't think this is a subject one can generalise about..different people want different things. As a married woman, I pretty much agree with the original list for what I want and what my husband wants. We're quite happy after 15 years of marriage and no kids.

I think it's a mistake to try and separate what men want and what women want, as though they were two different species; they're not.

So hat instnatly means men and women want the exact same things?

Men and women are different so they will have different wants/needs.
