Crystal has a wonderful weekend: is this the one?
November 18th 2007 11:27
I have had such a wonderful weekend, and I feel really ecstatic about that, it was just so exciting. Jim is such a lot of fun.
He rang Friday night after I'd almost dismissed the idea of hearing from him again.
He wanted to know what plans I had for the weekend. I mentioned the art gallery and Manly and he wanted to join me. No, I said, I'm going to go there alone when I do go.
So does that mean you're open to other suggestions.
It does.
Great, he said, how about we go out for dinner Saturday night to a really first class restaurant with music and dancing and Sunday, if the day is nice we'll go to a beach somewhere, not Manly.
I said that sounded good and he said he'd pick me up at 7.00 on Saturday and we'd make arrangements for Sunday later.
So my night at home on Friday was very rewarding.
But Satuday it was off to cooking which is going well, although it is quite simple but simple does help one to eat well, and then off to the shops for the week's supplies.
I'd heard that the Salvation Army has a Christmas tree at K-mart where one could leave gifts for the underprivileged and their spokesman said people were very generous but the group they found often got neglected were adolescent boys.
So, after much contemplation, I bought a softball bat and ball and a basketball and left them with the contributions others had made with their cards under the tree.
Perhaps I should have given more, it's hard to know what to do sometimes.
The afternoon was spent getting ready for the evening date and playing with Tinkerbelle who had taken a liking to my crystals and I did indulge her just a little.
Jim arrived in a whirl in his sports car prompty on time and in deference to my hairstyle wound up the hood, thank goodness.
He told me how beautiful I looked and what girl could resist that. We had a great time and he danced really well and it was so nice being held so close. You know what I mean.
Sunday it was off down the south coast and with semi bare bodies and the magical heat of the sun and laying so close together on the sand and listening to the sea and the music he'd brought with him was so very sensuous and to think I'd been missing all of that.
We had a light meal down there and Jim had me home just 10 minutes ago, knowing we both had to go to work to-morrow.
If I could describe my feelings, I'd describe them as sublime. Maybe he won't be the one but I think I shall know before long, he is certainly keen and who could resist him.
If it never goes anywhere else, I had a really great time, we laughed and talked and were getting to understand each other reallywell. I just did not expect it all to happen so quickly and wisdom tells me I should take things a little more slowly, that would not be easy with a man like Jim.
How sweet it is.
