Crystal wonders what you LOVE to do at home.

Home

Having been sternly reprimanded by Grumps who kindly pointed out what a selfish little bitch I am, I thought I'd talk about something profoundly meaningless but of concern to most of us, sorry, I mean YOU, because I do not want to spoil this post by talking about myself, which actually should allow me to do as I please with the many men destined to cross my path or should I say doorway who will quite unceremoniously be tossed out the door, after they've done their fair share of the housework, of course.

I mention that in passing to justify my rationale and please forgive me if I appeared to be talking about myself, in which case I feel sure my editor will edit it out, although I suspect, counting my earnings in cents, and I seemed to earn more when I was away for two weeks holidays than I earn when I post, irregularly as that may be, that he/she won't ge greatly interested.

But, oh dear, can't help myself, bad habits.

But back to the mind shattering task in hand and talking about what YOU love and hate to do and I would certainly be afraid if I thought any of you were actually afraid of such things.

This should surely not be a contentious issue, but at the back of my mind, or alternatively within the depths of my subconscious, depending how you express yourself and I definitely sacrifice quality to enable me to get on with the more interesting aspects of my life.

Oh, dear, I have crept into the equation again.

But, talking about YOU and YOUR point of you and I shall be horribly disappointed if Grumps does not give me HIS, what do you most like to do around the house.

Personally, I like....oops, pardon, there goes that egocentric female again, but then again I was never into arts, preferring to turn my mind to the more serious aspects of life ...oops...sorry again...guess I'll never be a writer, but I actually don't want to be, except in a minimalistic way, But please I am not talking about me, here, I am talking about GRUMPS.

Anyway, as Fog, nearly always says, what are the things you LOVE to do at home.

Please don't mention what you HATE to do , that belongs in the next post and my mathematical mind would persuade me to some sense of order, but then again most writers aren't into maths are they, or even adding up. They want to be FREE to express themselves.

So please feel absolutely Free, subject to editing, to express yourself here, insulting the writer will, of course, not deter her, and rightly so.

Well, it's an open book, if you love it, just tell us oops sorry, yourselves about it right here on Crystal's blog, she'll be delighted to welcome you.

So, what is it that YOU love to do at home.

Grumpy, get over here, Crystal needs a hug/medication, one of the two. Is it two? One... two. Yep. It's two. Just making sure it all adds up... though I have serious doubts that it does.

There are medications for multiple personality disorder? I believe hypnotherapy works sometimes...

Now, what do I do at home? Hmmm... everything - except shopping... no, definitely no shopping here. At nearly a kilometere above sea level and 20 more from the nearest shop... no, shopping cannot be done here.
That said, however, I do not enjoy shopping so... it really doesn't come into the equation does it?
So what do I enjoy doing at home - as distinct that is, from what I have to do and just do. (you will note that my long windedness is due to the fact that if I must add points to this blog by commenting then you are going to get a full post. I could, of course, have done it anonymously, but that wouldn't be fair, would it?)
Now, what was the question again? Oh, yes.

I enjoy standing in the kitchen with a jug of wine and a fag or two and looking out my window over the treetops while I recollect my life, the good times and the strangeness and the odd ways things come together.
I enjoy sitting out here in my office in the barn and talking to people all over Oz and the world, both on the radio and on the computer.
I enjoy working on the land here, feeding the animals and even forking up the horse shit as the late afternoon sun falls behind the mountains - it reminds me of something, something eternal.
I enjoy just standing around in the morning sun with Janice and discussing the garden and the dogs and the horses and the everythng else that goes on around here.
I particularly enjoy the predinner time when I am cooking each night, glass in hand, relaxing while Janice watches the news on the TV.
Basically I enjoy just about everything I do - because I am now in that position and at that age where I can decide not to do anything I don't like doing and no-one can tell me otherwise.
Sometimes I even enjoy writing - as distinct from just doing it for a living (yes, I AM a writer and I CAN do mathematics, I even used to teach it) Writng here, for instance is fun, particularly at certain times when I am in a creative mood.
So basically, I would stay at home 24/7 if I could, because that is where I am totally comfortable, complete - and myself. ...er, whoever that is...

Fog, love your love list and compliance ability. I am not a bit worried about visits from UFOs, highlight of your response was the degree of restraint demonstrated not to be placed superiorly to your cuddles with puggles. Well done, and I don't really think you got the anyhow reference, read carefully the words following, that is why when I spotted your post just beneath me I honoured you with my presence and to make my explanation, as I feared no-one else would get it either, so as things now stand, no-one needs to get it as between the two of us we have made things easy for them.

Michaelie darling, love your concern and may I point out that counting is not adding, but not wishing to make that a moot point, may I ask what YOU love doing at home.

I know already that you love SEX, in fact, you write many posts on it, and that you LOVE doing things all through the night, presumably crashing sometime during the day.

But I'm sure others would love to know, from YOU, what you love to do.

I have tried a lateral approach to your seemingly no response to the question, but I am unable to come up with a solution.

Please try again.

Grumps, it's the cigarettes that are the problem.

I take it that your farm is totally self sufficient, how do you do your own toilet paper, I deduce this from the fact that you can't go shopping where you live, and I guess you have your own small abbatoir, even if but the kitchen table, unless of course you are vegetarian.

But, I thoroughtly enjoyed your rambles and reflections, nature is truly divine.

I'll be looking forward at some future time to your disclosures on what you HATE to do, perhaps expecting some oblique reference to my blog, which I find very exciting, better than UFOs really.

Nice to hear of a man doing the cooking, trouble is they are usually the ones who decide to do it, without consultation, and thereby leaving the washing up to the second person in the partnership, funny that.

Nice to have such a lovely comment, a bit like doing a post, really.

One plus one equals two. That is adding is it not? Never mind, there may be a few values missing from the equation.

As to the question - does it really mean anything about anything? It hardly seems the point, and prompt for a response poses a problem when from an unresponsive poser. (Of questions).

Louie, that's kind, but I think they are often better.

Michaelie, I'd love to hear what you love doing at home, but thus far it looks like two minus two equals zero. Shame. Oh, she's not responsive, to the tune of something irresponsible.

Love the subltey changed ( again) highlighter, it suits you so well.
