Do you have magnetism: or would you like it?
January 10th 2008 07:34
Doesn't someone else's good energy make you want to hang around for more? Would you like to be able to attract people like a magnet?
Well if you think that would be cool and very sensuous to boot, try this little exercise.
1) Find a quiet spot.
2) Remember the last time you felt estactic. Go over that again in your mind.
3) Does it make you feel like you're eating the creamiest of good chocolate.
4) Intensify!
5) It’s time to test this technique the next time you’re out with someone new.
6) During your meeting let the esctatic good feelings swell inside you.
7) Now, imagine reaching out to the other person. Imagine this feeling growing outside of yourself and let those good feelings extend to that other person.
8) Tune into the rapport you have between you.
9) If you’re willing, ask him/her if she feels differently just now.
Now, have any of you tried these things which I found on the web? Do you think they'd work?
It all sounds very attractive doesn't it.
How many of you have such a magnetic attraction yourself. I know I don't but I'm getting better. Talking generally now.
Well, what do you all think and feel or don't you need to bother.

Lunacy more like, but good try.
I think I do have that allure with some people and not with others. I think it just depends on which direction you each are facing, whether you repel or attract.

and Michaelie, what can I do with you? Is this your Science version of like poles repel and unlike poles attract, hence the need to face in opposite directions.
I know people who are nevr attracted to someone who is right for them, just hanker after the undesirables, so I often wonder just what they have and not being obtuse, I guess they know just which buttons to press while the rest of us simply don't bother.
But I think these things may work a little, but probably don't have any lasting effect, and we get back to the magnetic poles ideas again.
You're a cheeky thing, just like you look. Yes and I'm a pink tulip.

To continue my allegory - maybe, sometimes you are lucky to attract because you are metaphorically facing one another, and therefore opposite directions, but also, you are focused on the other person; and sometimes you are facing opposite directions and therefore attract, but you have your back to each other. You still connect, but it is the wrong sort of connection, where the focus is on the wrong thing.
How does that go down?

But I'd be interested to see if it worked for those who did try it
